Adrijan Humaan
My love and passion for music developed in me from a young age. I started playing the guitar at the age of 7, when I enrolled in a music school where I received a classical education, and today I can say that I am a classically trained guitarist.
As a child, I grew up listening to pop/rock music from the 80s as well as old singles and classics from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, which were songs that were played daily in my home.
That's how my exploration of other musical styles began.
Upon arriving in Zagreb in the early 90s, I enrolled in economics and simultaneously built my musical career with the band Mariachi Los Caballeros.
There was a special love for Latin and folk music of the world of those years.
I play guitar in an established mariachi ensemble, and we have 25 years of a rich career and a lot of experience behind us.
But my exploratory nature and diverse musical interests, along with following modern trends, gave rise to the idea of forming this duo with my friend Ivan to embark on new musical adventures...
Ivan Zovko
Ivan Zovko began learning the violin at the age of 7.
He graduated in violin in 2006 from the Music Academy in Zagreb in the class of Prof. Goran Končar.
During his education, he won more than twenty awards and recognitions at county, state and international competitions.
In 2004, he released his first CD with the Music Academy Quartet in Zagreb, published by the Croatian Music Institute.
He works as the leader of the second violins at the Zagreb City Comedy Theatre.
He is a member of the Mariachi Los Caballeros group, with which he performs in Croatia and Europe.
He also performs as a member of the string quartet Cadenza and the Metropolitan band.
So far, he has performed several thousand times at various concerts, festivals, openings, weddings, promotions and other festive events.
He also performs solo (violin solo), mostly performing commissioned songs.
Since 2024, he has also performed in a duet with his friend Adrijan, with whom he has collaborated for over 20 years in a mariachi band. They decided to convey their enthusiasm and love for music through a duo in which they perform instrumental covers of popular hits, film, domestic, Latin, classical music and tango...

Repertoire
Our instrumental duo covers a wide range of music, from serious, classical and spiritual music to film, popular and light music. We follow current music trends but also perform world classical standards as well as compositions by renowned world pop rock groups and singers and domestic performers.
We love doing covers of any musical genre and period and can prepare the ones you want for your wedding or event.
